In Moscow, Deputy Prime Minister and Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev held a meeting with schoolchildren and college students from new Russian regions as part of the “Excursion with Knowledge” program at the international exhibition and forum “Russia”. The meeting was held in the “Tea Conversation” format. “The development of the Far East is taking place within the framework of fulfilling the instructions of the President of Russia Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. In 2013, he declared the development of the Far East a national priority,” Yuri Trutnev opened the conversation with these words. The Deputy Prime Minister spoke about the features of the Far Eastern regions and the implementation of the large-scale task set by the head of state to accelerate the socio-economic development of the entire macroregion. Yuri Trutnev told the children about the participation of the regions of the Far East in normalizing life in the new Russian territories in the west of the country. All eleven Far Eastern regions are taking part in the restoration work. Before the conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister, the children were introduced to the exposition of the regions of the Far East, the Ministry of Eastern Development of Russia, the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic “We are the Far East” in pavilion No. 75 “Regions of Russia”. Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic Anatoly Bobrakov conducted the excursion. Schoolchildren and students were able to learn about professional, educational, and tourism opportunities that are open to Russians in the Far East. After the excursion, there was an intellectual quiz. The winner, Diana Khizhevskaya, received a memorable prize from the Russian Society “Knowledge”.
