The vector of Russia's foreign economic relations is turned to the East, and the forum is held in its very center, in the heart of the Asia-Pacific region. This places special demands on our work,” Yuri Trutnev opened the meeting. “As always, we are preparing for the forum very carefully. The general mood is the same as before any Eastern Economic Forum: we will jointly try to ensure that it remains a place wh ere new decisions are made that will contribute to the development of our Far East. Everyone who prepares the EEF must answer the question of how to make the Forum better, more interesting, and more meaningful,” summed up Yuri Trutnev.
