As part of a working trip to the Sakhalin region, Deputy Prime Minister - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev visited the sports and tourist complex "Mountain Air" in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and got acquainted with perspective projects for its development. Tourist complex “Mountain Air” is the only ski resort in the country located within the city limits. A territory of rapid socio-economic development of the same name has been created here, the core of which is a sports and tourism complex located on the Bolshevik (601 m above sea level) and Krasnaya (779 m above sea level) mountains. One of the projects – the construction of a 4* hotel complex “Hill Top” – is being implemented by investors from the Republic of Korea. “We are open to cooperation with all countries of the world. It is the governments of some countries, who believe that they need to show their teeth. However, these are not our problems. We will help and support everyone who is ready to work and invest on the territory of Russia,” Yuri Trutnev emphasized.
