Representatives of Russian government agencies participated in the meeting: The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Energy, the Bank of Russia, the Ministry of Finance, the Russian-Thai Business Council, state corporations, and other entities. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Thailand Evgeny Tomikhin addressed the plenary session.
The Kingdom of Thailand was represented by specialists from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Federation of Thai Industries, and other government agencies, as well as representatives of Thai private businesses.
During the meeting, Russia and Thailand reaffirmed their commitment to expanding trade turnover, which grew by 2.3% last year. Russian exports to Thailand increased by a quarter, and in the first five months of this year, they have increased by another 50%.
The Russian-Thai Investment Forum will be held in Bangkok in October 2026. Representatives of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation are expected to represent Russia at the event.
