The first resident of the Arctic zone in Ugra will build industrial infrastructure for oil and gas companies

The “BeloyarskNefteService” company (owned by “Kunovatskaya Oil and Gas Company” JSC) was the first in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra to receive resident status in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF). Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the investor will build industrial infrastructure facilities necessary for one of the largest oil-producing regions of the country. According to the acting governor of the autonomous region, Ruslan Kuharuk, the inclusion of two territories of Ugra in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation makes it possible to implement a set of government support measures to stimulate entrepreneurial activity. Such measures include tax breaks, subsidized insurance premiums, and a simplified procedure for obtaining land plots.
