From August 8 to 9, 2024, the II Forum “Arctic – Regions” will be held in Arkhangelsk with the support of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic. The organizer of the event is the government of the Arkhangelsk Region; the co-organizer is the “NEVA-International” company. The title partner of the Forum is the state corporation “Rosatom”. Experts from the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation will participate. Participants will discuss ways to develop infrastructure and living space in order to make living in the Russian Arctic more comfortable. An assessment will be made of migration policy and its impact on the availability of personnel beyond the Arctic Circle. Experts will exchange experience in applying innovative approaches to human resources management, talk about cooperation between universities and industrial enterprises, as well as the implementation of educational programs for training and retraining of personnel that meet the needs of the Arctic economy.
