FEDC and RUSNANO agreed to cooperate in modernizing the energy infrastructure of the Far East and the Arctic

At the “Russian Energy Week” International Forum, RUSNANO Group, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), and the Krasnoyarsk Region Government signed a cooperation agreement to implement projects to modernize inefficient diesel generation. RUSNANO Group initiated and invested in the project. The total estimated investment in energy infrastructure under these projects could reach up to 10 billion rubles.

The agreement provides for trilateral collaboration to develop and implement modern energy service solutions in the Far East and the Arctic, including autonomous hybrid systems. These solutions will improve energy supply reliability, reduce consumer costs, and mitigate environmental impacts.

The first infrastructure modernization projects will be implemented in the Krasnoyarsk Region, which will serve as a launchpad for scaling up these technologies in the Far East and the Arctic. RUSNANO Group, as the initiator of the projects, plans to implement them using companies registered in the Krasnoyarsk Region as contractors. As part of this collaboration, FEDC will provide organizational and investment support.
