The State Duma discussed the bill on improving state support measures for Far Eastern and Arctic investors in the second and third readings
The State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation held a discussion of draft federal law No. 452658-8 “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation” in the second and third readings. The project was prepared by the Russian Ministry of Eastern Development jointly with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) to improve the investment climate and “adjust” preferences for Far Eastern and Arctic residents.
“These amendments were developed on the basis of proposals from the regions of the Russian Arctic and are aimed at ensuring a balance of interests of business, municipalities and the entire Russian Arctic as a whole,” noted State Secretary and Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic Pavel Volkov.
The law will simplify the provision of subsidies for the creation of infrastructure for businesses and expand the opportunities for residents who use the free customs zone (FCZ) procedure.
