The United Far Eastern Airlines carried its millionth passenger under the federal program for subsidizing socially significant transportation. It was a resident of Vladivostok, Ekaterina, who flew with her daughters Darina and Diana on July 9, 2024, on “Aurora Airlines” flight HZ 4708 from Vladivostok to Nikolaevsk-on-Amur. Over the entire period of implementation of the program in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1172, since July 2021, the Far Eastern “Aurora” has performed more than 20 thousand socially significant flights. From year to year, the popularity of socially significant routes is steadily growing, and during periods of high seasonal demand, flights are operated with increased frequency with a high percentage of seats occupied. For comparison: if the Far Eastern airline carried a little more than 72 thousand passengers in 2021, then in 2022 there were already more than 378 thousand people, and in 2023 this figure reached 437,124 passengers.
