On November 21, Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Vitaly Altabaev made a presentation at the industry conference "Cross-border infrastructure of Russia. Automobile checkpoints - a vector for acceleration" within the framework of the XVIII International Forum "Transport of Russia" in Moscow. The conference was also attended by the First Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Valentin Ivanov, Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Denis Tereshchenko, Head of the Federal State Institution Rosgranstroy Gennady Bezlobenko, Deputy Director of the Department for Support of the Activities of Administrative Bodies of the Government of the Russian Federation Anton Artamonov, Head of the Republic of Buryatia Alexey Tsydenov and others. The conference participants discussed the priority tasks for the development of the transport industry in the coming years, including the implementation of the order of the President of Russia to reduce the time for checking the passage of motor vehicles at the border to 10 minutes by 2026, prospects for expanding the electronic line, infrastructure solutions to increase throughput capacity, the development of access roads, and the progress of projects to build new checkpoints in the regions, including in the Far East.
