Residents of Sakhalin are actively building houses in the agglomerations of “Far Eastern hectares”

In the village of Peschanskoye, Aniva district, Sakhalin region, Marina Babenko built a two-story house on the seashore for her family. She received a plot of land overlooking Salmon Bay under the Hectare program. Today, Marina Babenko’s house is one of many included in the Peschanskaya agglomeration of “Far Eastern hectares”. The house is provided with infrastructure at the expense of the state budget: it has electricity, gas, running water, and there is a road nearby. Recently, Marina’s house was visited by participants of the interregional conference “Hectar”, which was organized and held in the Sakhalin region by the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).
