In the Primorsky Region, on the "Far Eastern hectares" near the village of Novorossiya, Shkotovsky District, a large interregional festival "Roots: Close Far East" was held. The festival program included a dance show, art exhibitions, theatrical performances, displays of traditional crafts and products made by minority indigenous communities in Khabarovsk Region, Amur and Kamchatka Regions.

A round table dedicated to the development of the tourism sector was organized by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic and the Russian Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) in preparation for the industry events in the 7th Eastern Economic Forum,

State Secretary - Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Pavel Volkov informed that to date, a part of the proposals based on the results of the EEF-2021 has been worked out, which have received the status of instructions of the President of Russia. These included a reduction in insurance premium rates for residents of the ASEZ and FPV from the moment they attract employees, and not from the moment they sign agreements, including for existing investors in the tourism industry. The value added tax rate for organizations of the tourism industry has been reduced - a 0% VAT exemption for 5 years has been established for hotels. A decision was made to double the tourist cashback for traveling in the Far East - up to 40%.
