A salmon breeding plant was launched by a resident of FPV on Sakhalin

“Salmo Plus” company put into operation a fish breeding complex in the Komissarovka river basin in the Korsakov district of the Sakhalin region. The enterprise has started laying 22.8 million eggs in incubators. In the future, the company plans to reach the incubation capacity of 60 million eggs per year. After that, the annual return of chum salmon will be about 3 thousand tons.

Under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, 339.5 million rubles were invested in the project. At the first stage of the project implementation, 14 jobs were created, in total 43 Sakhalin residents will get jobs.
