The Far East accounts for a significant part of the Russian state border. Thousands of military personnel - residents of the Far Eastern Federal District, stand guard around the clock on the sea and land borders of our country, protecting the peace of millions of Russians, giving us the opportunity to work, develop cities and villages, build enterprises, and implement large-scale projects. We remember what a great contribution the border guards of the Far East made to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, how bravely they fought against Nazism in the ranks of the Soviet Army, and participated in the key battles of World War II.
