Transbaikal State University strengthens training of specialists in geological exploration

During the festival of best practices of the “Priority 2030” program, which was held at MGIMO under the “Priority Fest” brand, the flagship university of the “Leaders of Mining Education” Consortium, the Trans-Baikal State University (ZabSU), signed an agreement with the Irkutsk National Research Technical University (IrNITU) on the development of joint educational projects. In the Far Eastern Federal District, the implementation of the strategic leadership program “Priority 2030. Far East” is being carried out with the assistance of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). "ZabSU has established stable ties with industry leaders, and IrNITU is famous for developing breakthrough technologies in the field of geological exploration. By joining forces, we plan to refine scientific solutions and accelerate their implementation in industry," said Oksana Martynenko, Rector of Zabaikalsky State University. In order to mutually strengthen competencies, the parties to the agreement plan to open several network programs, in particular in the areas of geological exploration and geophysics.
