Yuri Trutnev met with the management of several Chinese companies

In Harbin, China, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev met with the leadership of Chinese companies engaged in international trade, investment, energy, and high-tech manufacturing development.

The prospects for implementing joint Russian-Chinese projects within the framework of the new preferential regime—the international advanced development area—at the “Zapadnaya” site in Primorsky Region, the “Rovnoye” site in Amursky Region, and Bolshoy Ussuriysky Island in Khabarovsk Region were discussed. Projects include the creation of an industrial park, the construction of a production and logistics complex, the production of local energy facilities in the Russian Far East, the production of drones for agriculture, use in emergency rescue operations, ensuring urban security, and other areas.
