"The forum should make the maximum contribution to the development of the Far East. And today at the District Council meeting, among other things, we discussed preparations for the XI Eastern Economic Forum," said Yuri Trutnev.
The 11th Eastern Economic Forum will be held September 1–4, 2026, in Vladivostok. According to Alexey Chekunkov, Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic, the business program will be structured around three key and interconnected themes.
"The first is technology. Significant technological changes are taking place—it's important to take these changes into account and lead them as much as possible. The second topic is international cooperation. We see a new world emerging, new geopolitical realities. Russia plays a crucial role in many global processes, so at the EEF we will discuss a new global architecture. The third topic, for which we are harnessing technology and developing international cooperation, is quality of life. The EEF serves to find a formula for a happy life in the Far East," the minister noted.
