Preparations for the Eastern Economic Forum 2024 were discussed at a meeting of the Far Eastern Federal District Council, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev. The event was attended by heads of regions, representatives of federal ministries and departments.
The EEF will be held in Vladivostok on September 3-6, the organizer of the Forum is the Roscongress Foundation. "There are three weeks left until the Forum. Most of the (preparatory work) has already been done. Let's coordinate actions, discuss the readiness of the main events, the readiness of Vladivostok and the Far Eastern Federal University. I would like to remind you that the Forum is, first of all, a tool for solving the problems facing the macro-region. I ask you to treat this from this position, to use the upcoming sessions as effectively as possible," Yuri Trutnev opened the meeting.
The participants discussed the organization of business, cultural and sports programs, as well as the preparation of Primorye infrastructure for the Eastern Economic Forum.
