Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev visited the regional branch of the “VOIN” Center during his trip to Khabarovsk Region. He was accompanied by the head of the region Dmitry Demeshin, acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Region for Social Issues Aleksandr Dorofeev and the regional Minister of Sports Dmitry Chikunov. One of the issues at the meeting was the introduction of a new military-applied discipline – sniping – into the educational programs of the Center. During the visit, the guests were able to evaluate the features of the educational programs of the “VOIN” Center: they saw how cadets study tactical equipment, the material part of pneumatic weapons, types and classification of explosive devices using mock mines and engineering equipment, control drones on modern simulators, master the algorithms of tactical medicine, and sharpen their knowledge and skills during a tactical laser tag game. After the tour, a meeting with instructors took place, during which the features of the branch's work were discussed.
