Yuri Trutnev: preserving historical memory is one of the most important tasks

An open-air exhibition of military equipment from the Great Patriotic War "Victory Weapons" opened in the village of Palatka, Magadan Region. 22 units of equipment - cars, tanks and artillery guns - were acquired, restored and delivered to the region by the first deputy chairman of the Magadan Regional Duma, founder and chairman of the board of directors of the “Arbat” concern Alexander Basansky. It will be possible to see and even touch the exhibits during the May holidays.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev thanked Alexander Basansky, stressing that the preservation of historical memory is one of the most important tasks, the solution of which depends on the further development of Russia and victory in a special military operation. The Museum of Military Equipment in Palatka has become one of the largest in the Far East. Tanks, howitzers, rocket launchers found trackers who were excavating in different parts of Russia. This year, a large exposition "Weapons of Victory" was opened here. Visitors will be able to see military equipment, including tanks, howitzers, rocket launchers, the legendary "one and a half" and "Katyusha." About three dozen units of rare equipment found by trackers in the battle sites of the Great Patriotic War were installed in the center of the village, opening a temporary open-air museum.
