"My job isn't to judge the progress of specific master plan projects. I'm interested in the overall transformation of Ulan-Ude, Buryatia, and the entire Far East. Alexey Sambuevich Tsydenov and I just discussed, for example, the foundations of Buddhism. Our country is made up of different nationalities and different religions, but we're together, and that's very important," said Yuri Trutnev.
The Ulan-Ude Master Plan was approved by the Russian Government in July 2024, following instructions from Russian President Vladimir Putin and with the direct support of Yuri Trutnev. The strategic document includes over 30 measures.
