Yuri Trutnev inspected the progress of restoration work in the territories of the DPR under the Far East's protection

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev inspected the progress of social infrastructure restoration in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) by Far Eastern regions.

In the 2026 season, Far Eastern regions will carry out social infrastructure restoration work in 22 settlements with a total population of 205,000 people in six municipalities of the DPR. A total of 107 facilities are scheduled for restoration, including nine schools, seven kindergartens, four sports grounds and gyms, three community centers, three medical facilities, 7.5 kilometers of water pipelines, and 58,894.9 square meters of roads. Work is currently underway at 57 facilities. The delivery of humanitarian aid will continue. Since the beginning of the year, 34 tons of humanitarian aid have already been delivered.

In 2025, social infrastructure restoration work was carried out in 29 settlements of the DPR (with a population of over 227,000) at 227 facilities, including 3 hospitals, 15 schools, 5 kindergartens, 9 playgrounds and sports grounds, 144,200 square meters of roads, and 10.6 kilometers of water pipelines. More than 31.5 tons of humanitarian aid were sent. 2,421 children were sent for medical and health-improving recreation.
