The meeting addressed issues related to attracting investment and support mechanisms for the creation of a Unified Priority Development Area (UPDA), implementing technologies and increasing labor productivity, measures to stimulate innovation, industrial development, and the implementation of socially significant projects.
The agenda included the issue of prioritizing fuel supplies to regions, including remote northern supply areas, where, given limited navigation, it is critical to deliver petroleum products on time.
The issue of eliminating the energy capacity deficit was discussed. Last week, the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East submitted to the Government an electric power development program (through 2036 and 2050). The program proposes new approaches to the use of the Far East surcharge: half of the funds, as before, will be allocated to tariff subsidies, and the other half will be used for the construction of energy facilities of interest to the Far East.
A number of other issues concerned improving people's quality of life, including ensuring transport connectivity: the availability of air travel, as well as aircraft production.
