A meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry for the Development of the Far East was held in Moscow, dedicated to summing up the results of work in 2022 and plans for 2023. As Yury Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister and Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, noted, opening the meeting of the final board, the covid epidemic, unprecedented sanctions pressure significantly affected economic relations, the life of the whole world. “It is impossible to ignore these factors. At the same time, the main goal - the accelerated development of the Far East - was determined by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and remained unchanged,” the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
Last year, 178 new enterprises were built, 25.5 thousand jobs were created, 530 new investment agreements were signed. All of these figures are significantly higher than in 2021.
The total number of projects with state support in the Far East exceeded 3.3 thousand. The volume of investments already made amounted to 3.4 trillion rubles. More than 120 thousand new jobs have been created.
