Yuri Trutnev takes part in the charity event “Wishes on the Christmas tree”

Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev collected New Year's balls with children's wishes for gifts from the «Christmas tree ". The Deputy Prime Minister promised to fulfill the New Year's wishes of young Far Easterners, children from St. Petersburg and the Donetsk People's Republic. Thanks to the New Year's event «Wishes on the Christmas tree ", gifts from the leadership of the country and the Far Eastern Federal District will be received by children from orphanages, of large and low-income families, and children with health problems. Yuri Trutnev chose five balls with the wishes of young Far Easterners. Eight-year-old Elizaveta from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky made a wish to visit a dog kennel. Thirteen-year-old Nikolai from Magadan dreams of getting into the cockpit of an airplane. Fourteen-year-old Maxim from Nikolaevsk-on-Amur wrote about his desire to get a guitarist’s kit. Nine-year-old Lev from Sovetskaya Gavan wants to be a navigator on a sailing ship. Fifteen-year-old Valentina from Blagoveshchensk is in for a surprise. Yuri Trutnev: “This is probably the most interesting gift. I will definitely fulfill this wish.” Two more balls from the “Christmas tree” contained wishes from residents of other regions of our country. Twelve-year-old Alisa from Donetsk wrote about her dream of getting roller skates. Six-year-old resident of St. Petersburg Veronica wanted to receive a “smart speaker” with a built-in voice assistant as a gift. The “Wishes on the Christmas tree” campaign is a project of the organization “Movement of the First” with the support of Rosmolodezh. The event took place for the first time in 2018. Since then it has been held annually from mid-November to the end of February. The main goal is to fulfill the New Year's wishes of children from 3 to 17 years old who find themselves in difficult life situations. Over the past five years, at least 40 thousand Russian citizens took part in the action. They managed to fulfill more than 106 thousand children's wishes.
