Yuri Trutnev: improving the quality of life of people is our priority

During a working trip to the Magadan region, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev, got acquainted with the development of social infrastructure in the village of Palatka, the administrative center of the Khasynsky district. The Deputy Prime Minister, together with the Governor of the Magadan Region Sergei Nosov, assessed the work of the “Olympus” sports and recreation complex. The “Olympus” complex, with an area of more than 2.7 thousand meters, was built as part of the “Demography” national project and was opened in 2021. The first floor of the sports complex is intended for playing team sports: football, basketball and volleyball. On the second floor there are gyms for cardio and strength fitness. On the third there are tables for playing table tennis. Yuri Trutnev toured the halls, talked with the coaches and the guys who train here. The second point of visit was the 25-meter “Arbat” swimming pool. It was opened in 2019. In winter, physical education classes are held here for schoolchildren, a sports swimming section operates, and aquafitness classes are held. Yuri Trutnev watched the swimming training of athletes. The Deputy Prime Minister also visited the “Khasyn Children's Creativity Center”. Here children are trained in various areas, including choreography and vocals, drawing, bead weaving, carpentry, and basic technical modeling. This year the center building was completely renovated. The modernization was carried out on behalf of the President of Russia using funds from the presidential Far Eastern subsidy provided through the Russian Ministry of Eastern Development. “Palatka” is a small village. But here there is all the infrastructure necessary for life and activities. I think it's great. This is the development of the Far East that Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin entrusted to us, when good living conditions are created in every village, even a small one,” said Yuri Trutnev.
