However, there has been a surge in the herring population. These developments must be considered in the support mechanisms the government offers to businesses," said Yuri Trutnev.
The plant in Ozersky began operations in October 2025. The new complex occupies 10,000 square meters and is part of the existing “Kirov Fishing Collective Farm”. The facility was built in one year under the federal investment quota program. The total investment amounted to 3.7 billion rubles.
