Yuri Trutnev visited in Ulan-Ude the Republican Cadet Boarding School named after Hero of Russia Vitaly Sukuev

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev visited the Republican Cadet Boarding School named after Hero of Russia Vitaly Vladimirovich Sukuev, which is currently one of the leading training centers for future defenders of the Fatherland in the Republic of Buryatia.

During his visit, the Plenipotentiary Representative reviewed the educational, training, and sports infrastructure of the institution and spoke with the school's leadership and students.

The Republican Cadet Boarding School opened in 2013. In November 2024, by decree of the Government of the Republic of Buryatia, it was named after Vitaly Vladimirovich Sukuev, a native of the republic and a Hero of Russia. This decision was an important step in preserving the memory of this hero and strengthening patriotic traditions among young people.

"The most important thing is that the children here gain more than just knowledge. They also develop character, responsibility, respect for their country's history, and a willingness to serve the Fatherland. Furthermore, the modular gym, built with Yuri Petrovich's support, has already become an important part of the educational process and helps our children grow up strong, healthy, and goal-oriented," noted Alexey Tsydenov.
