As part of a working trip to the Khabarovsk Region, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev, held a meeting on the implementation of a comprehensive plan for the Khabarovsk urban agglomeration. The master plan for the Khabarovsk urban agglomeration was approved by the President of Russia at the Eastern Economic Forum in September 2023. Its implementation began at the end of last year. The city will have new microdistricts with all the necessary infrastructure, an interuniversity campus, a recreation and health center for children, a bus industrial cluster will be created, and much more. Construction of a combined embankment and the Far Eastern Art Museum has already begun. Following the discussions, Yuri Trutnev instructed the Ministry of Eastern Development of Russia, together with the government of the Khabarovsk Territory, to submit proposals for updating the master plan within two weeks.
