Yuri Trutnev instructed federal ministries to see into the balance of Buryatia's budget

In Ulan-Ude, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev held a meeting on the socio-economic development of the Republic of Buryatia and the progress of master plans.

"When it comes to the region's development, there are some rather contradictory feelings. On the one hand, the region is growing. Industrial production growth rates significantly exceeds the Russian average. On the other hand, the region's budgetary capacity is not increasing, but rather, declining. I've already instructed the Ministry of Finance and will give the same instruction to the Ministry of Economic Development to look into the budget balance. "When new economic capacity emerges, the budget should increase, not decrease," Yuri Trutnev concluded the discussion.
