Yuri Trutnev thanked the Far Easterners for participating in the elections

Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev expressed gratitude to the residents of the Far East for their active participation in the elections of the President of the Russian Federation. “Dear Far Easterners! On Sunday, March 17, the presidential elections ended in our country. In the Far East, more than 72% of voters took part in the voting. I would like to thank all those who expressed their political will and their concern for the future of Russia. The final results will be announced on March 21. However, today, based on preliminary calculations, we can confidently say that the current President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, will win the vote by a large margin. In the Far East, about 87% of voters voted for him. Over the past 6 years, the number of people supporting the President in the macro region has increased by more than a million people. Over the years of his work, Vladimir Vladimirovich has done a lot to transform the Far East. On his instructions, the Vostochny cosmodrome, the Amur gas processing plant, and the Zvezda shipbuilding complex were built. Thanks to the presidential Far Eastern unified subsidy, hundreds of schools, hospitals, kindergartens, cultural and sports facilities were opened in the macro region. This year, a large-scale renovation program for Far Eastern cities was launched. Today Russia, unfortunately, has not a few enemies. But in years of testing, our country always unites, becomes stronger, and this allows us to repel any aggression and emerge victorious from the most difficult situation.”
