Yuri Trutnev got acquainted with the restoration of the Starobeshevskaya Thermal Power Plant in the DPR

During a working trip to the Donetsk People's Republic, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev, was acquainted with the progress of the restoration of Starobeshevskaya Thermal Power Plant in the village of Novy Svet. The station is one of the generation facilities that ensure the energy security of the DPR. Donbass energy workers reported on the completion of work to restore and modernize generating facilities to guarantee the provision of heat and light to residents of the region. “The thermal power plant provides a wide range of consumers on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Power engineers quickly respond to enemy raids and quickly repair damage. Thanks to this, there are virtually no power interruptions,” he said. The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the energy workers for the dedicated performance of their duties and asked to nominate distinguished workers for awards.
