Yuri Trutnev got acquainted with the first motopark in Kamchatka

In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev discussed with the Governor of the region Vladimir Solodov and the management of Moto Park Kamchatka the development of a sports and tourist complex for motorcycle racers and motorists. The complex was launched by a resident of the free port last autumn and is the only one in Kamchatka. The project, in which more than 353 million rubles have been invested, was implemented under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic. This year it is planned to hold nine cross-country competitions and nine auto races. Motopark for sports and tourism is included in the All-Russian register of sports facilities. It occupies 15.5 hectares in the suburbs of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. To develop it, investors invited one of the best track designers - Greg Atkins, who has 30 years of track construction experience. As a result, 1,600-meter-long motorcycle tracks with height differences of up to 23 meters were built. The tracks include 23 turns, 7 jumps and 2 rhythm sections. And the length of the track for motor sports exceeds a thousand meters with high drops of up to 30 meters. The complex is visited by about 150 people per month.
