In Chita, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev, got acquainted with the work of a specialized “mining class” at the multidisciplinary lyceum of Transbaikal State University.
A unique educational project “Mining School” at ZabSU for the professional guidance of future miners started last year. Profile classes were organized in 11 municipalities of the region, including the multidisciplinary lyceum of Transbaikal State University. In September of this year, equipment, furniture, and rock samples were purchased for the classrooms. The purchase took place at the expense of the presidential Far Eastern subsidy provided through the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and Arctic.
