Yuri Trutnev: the new airport terminal in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk will contribute the development of the region

During a working trip to the Sakhalin Region, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev was acquainted with the construction of a new passenger terminal at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport. The new air terminal complex with a total area of more than 47,000 square meters will allow passing more than a thousand passengers per hour on domestic routes and about 600 passengers on international routes. During the year, it will be able to comfortably serve up to 5 million passengers according to high international standards. This is five times more than the current capacity of the airport.
