Yuri Trutnev: new technologies and new production facilities are needed for our common Victory
The implementation of support measures within the framework of the “Patriotic” ASEZ was discussed at a meeting of the Council of the Far Eastern Federal District, held under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev.
Before the discussion began, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of social cohesion and the consolidation of Russians around the head of state.
When starting to discuss the issue of implementing measures within the “Patriotic” ASEZ, the Deputy Prime Minister noted, that “this form of support helps in the development of production, expanding the list of products supplied to the front and contributes to bringing Victory closer.”
In 2023, we supported 13 manufacturers in the Far East. These businesses will continue to receive support. They produce buggies, snow and swamp-going vehicles, unmanned aerial reconnaissance and attack systems, direction finders, electronic reconnaissance and warfare equipment, thermal imaging sights, quadcopters, medical products and many other things. We regularly transfer all this to our units of the Eastern Military District and to other parts of the Army of the Russian Federation. Overall, I think the work is going in the right direction. Because new production facilities are appearing, and what I think is especially important to emphasize, new developments, because the development of technologies is very important today for Victory, for our country. We will distribute support to new points of growth in the defense industry that will appear in the Far East this year,” Yuri Trutnev summed up the discussion of the issue.
