Yuri Trutnev: preparations for EEF 2024 have begun
Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev held the first meeting on the preparation of the IX Eastern Economic Forum. Among the topics proposed on the Forum agenda are future technologies, development of transport infrastructure, and modernization of energy systems.
“We want to dedicate this Forum to the technologies of the future. New developments provide additional opportunities for intensive development of the economy and social sphere and contribute to the formation of the technological sovereignty of our country. New innovative production facilities are being actively created in the Far East. To support business in the Far Eastern Federal District, preferential regimes with tax benefits and administrative support have been created and are constantly being improved, and additional forms of support are being created. We will talk about all this at the next Forum. Other topics will also be discussed, including the development of transport infrastructure and the expansion of the Eastern Transport Corridor. Today the economy of our entire country, the development of energy and the creation of new generating capacities depend on this,” Yuri Trutnev said following the meeting.
