Yuri Trutnev: We will apply Crimea's experience in protecting facilities in the Far East

On August 14, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev made a working visit to the Republic of Crimea to study experience in protecting infrastructure facilities and strategic enterprises.

The trip was attended by Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Roman Alisenov, Governors of Khabarovsk Region Dmitry Demeshin, Magadan Region Sergei Nosov, and Amur Region Vasily Orlov.

During the trip, participants learned about territorial defense principles, mobile fireteam tactics and technology, and visited air defense command centers. The work of mobile fireteam command centers and volunteer training were discussed.

The Far Eastern governors, in turn, shared their achievements within the “Patriotic” ASEZ and described the dual-use products manufactured by regional enterprises.

"We must make every effort to protect critical infrastructure facilities, enterprises, and, most importantly, ensure the safety and well-being of people. The Crimean authorities have accumulated extensive experience in defending their territory and repelling enemy attacks. We will apply these skills and expertise in the Far Eastern territories," said Yuri Trutnev.
