Yuri Trutnev: Magadan residents should live in a comfortable city

Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev held a meeting on the performance of instructions on the implementation of construction projects in the Magadan Region. The progress of construction of power lines and the Talaya substation was discussed. “The implementation of the project will make it possible to connect the village of Talaya to the centralized energy supply system. A modern sanatorium complex and a year-round greenhouse have been built in the village, which supplies Magadan with fresh vegetables. Today the energy there is diesel, and the required level of reliability is not provided,” said Yuri Trutnev. A project was presented to create a marine tourism center in Magadan. “The Marine Tourist Center is part of the unique sea facade of Magadan, a continuation of the “Mayak” Park and the city embankment. The creation of the center is included in the city development plan,” noted Yuri Trutnev. The implementation of three projects from the development plan of the city of Magadan was discussed: the construction of a regional maternity hospital, the construction of a complex of treatment and diagnostic departments of the Magadan Regional Phthisiology and Infectious Diseases Dispensary, as well as the reconstruction of the building and equipment of the educational and laboratory building of the Magadan Polytechnic College.
