Yuri Trutnev: Magadan will receive modern air gates

Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev and Governor of the Magadan Region Sergei Nosov inspected the progress of construction of a new terminal complex for domestic air routes at Magadan “Sokol” International Airport. The area of the new terminal will be 14 thousand square meters, capacity 800 passengers per hour. As the Governor of the region Sergei Nosov noted, the design of the airport terminal building was chosen by residents of the Magadan region. The new airport terminal will be equipped with 2 telescopic bridges and an automatic baggage handling system; it will implement modern passenger service technologies. The construction of the new airport complex is carried out without changing the flight schedule. The existing airport terminal continues to operate as before without any restrictions in serving passengers.
