Yuri Trutnev fulfilled the New Year's wish of a girl from Vladivostok

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev took part in the"Yolka Zhelaniy" ("Wish Tree") campaign and granted the wish of ten-year-old Sofia from Vladivostok.

Sofia wished to receive an electric piano and play it for the Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District. Sofia's wish was granted, and she performed a short piece on the new instrument for the Deputy Prime Minister. Yury Trutnev asked Sofia to learn Oginsky's Polonaise so she could perform it during their next meeting.

As a reminder, the "Yolka Zhelaniy" (Wish Tree) campaign is a project of the "Movement of the First" organization with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (“Rosmolodezh”). The campaign first took place in 2018. It runs annually from mid-November to the end of February. Its main goal is to fulfill the New Year's wishes of children aged 3 to 17 who find themselves in difficult life situations. Thanks to the "Yolka Zhelaniy" campaign, gifts from the leadership of the country and the Far Eastern Federal District will be received by orphanages, members of large and low-income families, and children with special needs.
