Yuri Trutnev and Aisen Nikolaev visited the Higher School of Music in Yakutsk

In Yakutsk, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev and the head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev visited the campus of the Higher School of Music (Institute) of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The training program of the Higher School of Music includes primary, secondary and higher professional music education in the specialties of performing arts, musicology, musical and theatrical arts. Currently, more than 260 students are studying at the university. The teaching staff consists of 103 people, including doctors and candidates of science, professors, associate professors, holders of honorary titles of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Sakha. As part of the Higher School of Music, there is a children's and youth philharmonic society, which includes student symphony and chamber orchestras, a children's brass band, an ensemble of violinists, cellists, flutists, harpists and a children's academic choir.
