The Deputy Prime Minister drew the governors' attention to a number of economic indicators that affect the construction of new enterprises, the development of infrastructure, the creation of new jobs and wage increases. Among them are investments in fixed capital, the pace of construction and housing commissioning. The budgetary security of the Far Eastern regions was also discussed.
Assistant to the President of Russia Maxim Oreshkin identified six main areas for regional development for the heads of regions. Among them are the development of economic relations with foreign countries, ensuring technological sovereignty and the outstripping development of the manufacturing industry, financial sovereignty, the outstripping development of infrastructure, increasing real incomes of the population, maintaining the population, increasing the birth rate, and improving the quality of the healthcare system.
Daria Kiryanova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, reported on how the education system is developing in the Far East.
The heads of the regions reported on the implementation of plans for the construction of housing and improvement of urban areas, the modernization of social infrastructure, launching of new enterprises and the modernization of existing industries, the creation of jobs and retraining programs for specialists.
