During the meeting, the prospects for the implementation of the Sakhalin-1 project after Exxon Mobil (USA) exit, which owns a 30% stake, were discussed. In March 2022, ExxonMobil announced the start of withdrawal from the Sakhalin-1 oil and gas project, while the rest of the project participants express their readiness to work in the new conditions. And now all production facilities of Sakhalin-1 are operating as usual.
