Yuri Trutnev: Far Eastern enterprises help develop the country

As part of a working visit to Khabarovsk Region, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev visited the Amur Hydrometallurgical Plant and inspected the plant’s second line (AGMK-2), which became the first autoclave production facility in Russia for processing double-refractory gold-bearing ores. "Without a doubt, this hydrometallurgical plant, the new line, new technologies are part of the development of the Far East. And the development of the Far East, in turn, is part of the development of our entire large and wonderful country of Russia. The economic power of Russia is created by the work of people who implement new technologies, who work not in offices, but in production facilities in the taiga," said Yuri Trutnev. The launch of AGMK-2 made it possible to process gold-containing concentrates regardless of their chemical composition, which strengthens technological sovereignty, eliminating the dependence of the domestic gold mining industry on the export of semi-finished products. Now gold from complex raw materials (double-refractory ore), which was previously extracted only outside our country, will be produced in Russia. AGMK-2 will process gold-containing concentrate from the Nezhdaninskoye (Yakutia), Mayskoye (Chukotka Autonomous Okrug), Veduga (Krasnoyarsk Region) and other deposits.
