As part of the Russia-Indonesia Business Forum in Jakarta, a visiting session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) "Expansion of business interaction through mechanisms of scientific and educational partnership of the Russian Far East and Indonesia" was held. It was dedicated to the prospects for cooperation between the regions of the Far East and Indonesia in the educational sphere.
The panel discussion was attended by representatives of leading universities and relevant departments of Russia and Indonesia. The speakers included Director General for Science and Technology of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Ahmad Najib Burhani; Rector of the Bandung Institute of Technology Tatachipta Dirgantara; Vice-Rector for International Relations of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) Evgeny Vlasov; Vice-Rector of Bakri Tri University Andika Kurniawan; Rector of the Pacific National University (PNU) Yuri Marfin; Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of the University of Indonesia Hamdi Muluk; Director General of the Development Fund of the Innovative Scientific and Technological Center "Russkiy" Elena Kharisova. The moderator was Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Elvira Nurgalieva.
