An all-season hotel near the ski slopes in Kirovsk will be built by a new resident of the Russian Arctic

At the site of the International Exhibition and Forum "Russia" at VDNKh, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) and the “Arctic Village” company signed an agreement on investment activities in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) during the implementation of a project for the construction of a hotel complex and recreation center at the ski resort in the city of Kirovsk, Murmansk region. The volume of investment in the project will be 130 million rubles. The agreement was signed by the General Director of the FEDC Nikolay Zapryagaev and the General Director of “Arctic Village” LLC Anatoly Marchenko in the presence of the Russian Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexey Chekunkov and the Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis. The new resident of the Russian Arctic will build an all-season mini-hotel with 35 rooms with a capacity of 100 people, with a restaurant and a conference room. The project also provides for landscaping of the territory, as well as the arrangement of a parking lot and a children's playground, and the laying of eco-trails. For lovers of active recreation, rental of ski equipment will be provided in winter, and bicycles and trekking equipment in summer.
