In Vladivostok, as part of the implementation of the city’s master plan, a comprehensive renovation of social infrastructure continues

In the historical center of the capital of the Far Eastern Federal District, work is underway to improve courtyard areas, a new bike path is being built on Russky Island, and the construction of a modern extreme park, the largest in the Far East, is nearing completion. The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) oversee the implementation of state programs aimed at the comprehensive renovation of cities in the Far Eastern Federal District. Improvement of the historical center of Vladivostok is an important part of the city strategy. The work is carried out within the framework of the project "Preservation of the external historical and architectural appearance of buildings and structures of the city of Vladivostok" and is part of the city's master plan. The modern urban environment is also developing in parallel with the preservation of the historical appearance. An extreme park is being built on Russky Island near the University Embankment - a unique sports complex for BMX freestyle, skateboarding, mountain biking and roller sports. The facility is 60% complete and will be completed in mid-August 2025. The park includes a concrete bowl, a street plaza, a plywood air park with an area of 820 square meters and a pump track. The complex will be able to accommodate more than 200 athletes at a time.
