On August 17, Vladivostok hosted the opening of the exhibition “The Spirit of Russia. North"
Exhibition “Spirit of Russia. North" began its work on the "Street of the Far East" in Vladivostok on August 17. The opening program of the House of Indigenous Peoples of the North will last two days and will include a business and cultural program. The pavilion will continue its work during the VIII Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University on September 10–13. Opening of the exhibition “Soul of Russia. North" is included in the plan of events of the Russian Chairmanship of the Arctic Council in 2021-2023. The event operator is the “Roscongress” Foundation.
The exposition is divided into several zones. In the interactive zone "Introduction to Indigenous Peoples" there will be an installation containing information about each indigenous people living in Russia: number, language, religion, way of life, traditions, territory of residence. To the left and right of the screen there will be two steals with additional information about the folklore and customs of the small indigenous peoples.
