Vladivostok became the youth capital of Russia 2024

On December 22, at the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” at the ceremony of presenting the All-Russian Youth Achievement Award “Time of the Young”, First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation Sergei Kiriyenko announced the cities that won the title of Youth Capital of Russia 2024. They were two centers of attraction for young people - Moscow and Vladivostok, which scored a record number of points based on the results of popular voting and expert assessment. “30 times fewer people live in Vladivostok than in Moscow, while in the popular vote these 2 cities were side by side. In Vladivostok, a lot is being done for young people - new public spaces are opening, bold projects are being implemented, and vibrant youth events are being held. The status of the Youth Capital is a powerful impetus for the development of educational and cultural projects”,- noted the head of the Ministry of Eastern Development Alexey Chekunkov.
